Just got a new swivel housing and was supprised to see it's been sprayed black..... Is this normal? I thought they should be silver?

Sorry if it's a silly question and I missed something :L it's for my 94 discovery

is it sprayed ???? - you might find its actually Teflon

I don't know :L do I just have to scrape it off or put it on and it come off on it's own?

there arent chrome any more since mid nineties
