now ive got your attention..lol

anyone ever made and fitted a swingaway carrier to a disco 1?

I have 37s atm and don't want them on the rear door..

plus I will soon be getting 38.5" swampers

iv looked into it and it is on my list of things to do, iv already got a custom rear bumper and the bracket is easy enough, its finding something suitable as a hinge that can be welded to the bumper that cant be just lifted off by pikeys and can be re greased/maintained..

iv seen the slitty ones that bolt to side of car which im looking at but ally shell and trees may be a problem

There is a thread on here by a polish guy( hope im right) he built one himself. Looks very nice too.

iv seen this i cant remember, il try hunt it down, pretty sure he just machined it on a lathe, which is ideal if you have access...i dont

theres one on here dut i dont think its peter that i was thinking of.

37s on a disco are SO last year!

i really need to get some bigger rubber need to pay off some bills and get some other bits sorted 1st though lol
