Swapping 3.5l V8 for td200???

I have a 1988 110 csw and im just thinking aloud...given the demonisation of diesel and the fact that my mates 110has a v8petrol on lpg, how feasible is it to swap my td200 for a v8 petrol (or other petrol) engine?
Is it a chassis change or somewhat simpler?

Its not a difficult job relatively speaking , and has been covered lots on forum , weld new mounts on chassis , but there isnt much drivetrain commonality , eg exhausts , cooling , gearbox , wiring if efi .
