Swap Chevrolet Astro Day Van for v8 Disco or Range Rover

Hi
Looking for advice on what to get. I have been looking for a Disco or RR for some time but hear rumours about engine o/heating and porous block problems. So what to avoid would be useful.

Thanks for the useful comment philatac, I am gonna buy an RR.

I was surprised at the churlish remarks by the other two in what appears to be a well thought out and supported site. I am sure they are in the minority here.

Just stating the facts,thats is a butt ugly van.I mean so ugly it should have been put down at birth.have you even read any posts on here before joining?man that van is ugly, makes my eyes hurt!
 
without wanting to sound rude rrNut, Asking on a landrover enthusiasts forum if anyone wants to swap the vehicle they are enthusiastic about for a chevvy van isn't going to get many enthusiastic reponses.

You might be better off selling it and then buying a rangerover.:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ;)

Man has this boy got problems, first buys butt ugly van, thens tries to sell it on landy forum, then because philapratt says buy a rr coz hes got one he calls it sound advice. How does he get home by himself please let me selll him summat
