What about If I lengthen the wheelbase or change to rose jointed arms say ?

id say no, because again your not changing the type.
But lengthening the wheelbase would cause you to lose your 5 for chassis. your on about going to 100 inch i presume? You would need longer possibly custom props then would you not?

That would be my thought
Not yet as I want the short wheelbase for trailing ATM but extended a frame and trailing arms is the way to go without going 3/4 link etc
Sweet so if I can keep the points I can auto without Q plating

Depends really how arsey they wanna be you cannot get E marked radius arms (i don't think) nor E marked A extended frame so parts are not built to a spec. Welding the chassis i.e moving suspension mounts and such like would be a major chassis modification would it not??

I know what you mean. I'm not doing it for a while anyway so no need to worry yet
Technically is fitting a cage a chassis mod as I've added to the chassis / modified if you wanted to be really picky or my Pressbrake rear crossmember with recovery eyes and winch hole. It depends how much you **** of the examiner and how picky you wanna get I think
