Hi, can anyone help me fix a problem with my discovery2 suspension.
I have a discovery 2 that sometimes rocks about for no apparent reason when driving. Once the yellow warning light comes on the car stabilises and drives normally, but it can take a while for this to happen. The car suspension doesnt drop overnight or if left longer, problem only happens whilst driving. Ive been told it might be a back sensor causing it. Has anyone else experienced this problem & if so how was it resolved. Any help greatly appreciated.

read the fault codes from the SLABS ECU ASAP.... it might be a sensor or an ECU missbehaviour and if it is u might loose the compressor too.... if it doesnt drop over night unplug everything in the compressor housing(valves and compressor) , remember to not mix plugs after that. U can drive it so for days, untill u get to a tester. If it will drop a bit in a few days plug everything back turn on ignution and wait untill it's back on level then unplug again.... this is to protect the compressor untill u sort the fault.... a sensor or even the ECU are cheaper than the compressor assy

has it got ace, which yellow light ,does red one come on ,whats it feel like poor shockers ,or someone rocking it

i just saw that...... GOOD POINT ... everything i said is valid just in case of SLS not ACE warning.... the symptoms are rather specific for ACE missbehaviour

hi thanks for your response. Its got ace, yellow light with two arrows pointingdown at bothsides of car,no red light and it feels like a pimpmobile rocking side to side

you need to get fault codes read cleared read again, worth buying your own hawkeye or similar if keeping vehicle save you lots in the long run

mr jamesmartin was spot on(not like me:eek:) ... untill u get to read the faults take out fuse F15 or relay R14 from engine bay fusebox... what u described seems to be an ACE ECU missbehaviour like it entered in bleeding mode... without battery supply the system will enter in "locked bar" failure mode and the car will act like on conventional anti roll bars and ull have the warning lamp on.... no danger.
..and check the fluid level in the reservoir, without fluid the pump will worn out
