hi all i am being bought a 3 inch suspension lift for xmas but ive got to fit it myself,i have no idea what u get with it,is it springs and shocks and how easy is it to do for a novice like myself.its going on a td5 90 any info would be great

seems like you had a lot of problems with urs then is it a common problem do u no

As soon as you start doing any mods it interferes with the dynamics and structural integrity of the vehicle...this doesnt mean they cant be done or always lead to problems. Just be aware that they can arise...

You have to ask yourself, is this mod a necessity? Whats wrong with the suspension you have now? If its just for 'improving' the looks...well i'd rather have a landy that spends its life OUT of the garage...

I was going to do mine but I asked myself why. If it ain't broke don't fix it !
Spend your money on other goodies.

did a 2" lift to my landy. just changed the dampers and springs to start with and the body roll was ridiculous. Put on castor corrected radius arms and cranked trailing arms and the improvment was great. possibly handles better than before. It is expensive however and is not simply just changing the dampers and springs.

thanks for all the info think il stere clear of it

If you really need it, do it...if not, don't...as above lots of other toys to get if you want to tart her up, without the danger of becoming a money pit...got any pics? Sure people will guide you...sounds like you've got a few hundred to spend...

was going to be a gift. allready fitted a snorkel cuuby box and dog guard think next puchase will be new tyres and winch

ud be better off saving the money for wheels or a winch as they will actually make a difference. only want a 2" lift if ur plannin on using 33" tyres or larger. From my experience will probably cost u nearer £1000 to get everything running right once u add in all the extras. but thts just my opinion
