Firstly you need to check if your insurance will allow the modification. I've done one for an NFU customer and they were fine about it, and another customer of Direct Line (or some generic type) wouldn't allow it.

Secondly, if allowed you'd do a lot worse than getting a pair of Terrafirma Medium load springs, the conversion hardware (doesn't cost much at all) and a pair of replacement Terrafirma dampers. Probably about £175 in total, but much better ride than the Britpart D2 Coil Conversion kits.

It's reasonably straight forward. Takes anything between 1 and 3 hours, depending on how easy it is to remove the old airsprings which will be covered in crup. Also much easier with airtools and a ramp.

You'll also need to tell the SLABS ECU that it is on Coils and not SLS which can be done by T4 et al...
