start car drive for 30 - 40 mins inactive suspension lights up abs/hdc etc. stop for couple mins restart all is fine again! had the all coms on it no faults! please help or its time for matches and a gallon of petrol. car is 2004 td6.

A search will bring up lots of info. otherwise wait for Saint V8 or Hippo.
 
Did you only look at the EAS system on the All Comms....as the ABS system will also bring down the EAS as they are interrelated....

If it restarts fine, does it do it again fairly soon or is it another 30-40 minutes??
 
tested battery 12.7 volts after sitting overnight. started car 14.4 volts.
have noticed o/s front wheel has more brake dust than n/s so will check caliper next weekend.
 
I'd consider an Abs sensor as it gets warm it'll lose connection or a caliper sticking will generate enough heat to cause problems with a sensor
 
I've got a similar problem. Seems the abs ecu could be at fault as they have known faults when hot, google bmw abs ecu faults.
 
googled that :( I ordered a sensor so will take caliper off clean/check and relace sensor first. just thought if it was abs ecu it would throw up a fault on the all coms
