Well I thought after 100 odd posts I should really introduce myself to the regulars, unlike most I didnt join the forum because I wanted a quick answer to a fault and then bugger off, it was mainly because I was buying a landy and the best people to ask (in my opinion) are the people who own them!
I wanted a Mondeo TDci and SWMBO wanted a people carrier, a compromise had to be found so being there was already 3 Discoverys in the family
Initially I was looking for a TD5 but a 300tdi turned up on ebay it looked good in the photos and without the aid of alcohol I made a cheeky bid in the last moments expecting to be out-bid but I won the auction
That was in July, since then it has had a de-cat (egr was done before I got it) new mats, leather cleaned, fog lights removed and LED lighting..
It does get dirty too..
But I do have a cleaning fetish, so its shiny (ish) again..
And the interior is wearing very well for 127k!
Still to do is a new clutch and plenty of other little jobs to keep me busy
