Surrey greenlanes?

Gonna do a recce tomorrow, but this is the Route I was thinking of, not sure if there is anything decent there, will see tomorrow..

River Lane (Where you are starting) is a boring dust road with a gypo site in a field off of it. It is also a dead end, you used to be able to drive over the river but they shut the bridge...

Stane Street (Your second lane) has a Permanant TRO on it. Until a while back you could drive Ermyn Way but that has now got a TRO on the last section of it.

Langley Lane also has a TRO.

Your "3rd" lane (Stane street again) also has a TRO on it.

Hogden Lane towards Polsden is open and is a good lane. Also got Admirals way under 0.5 Miles away.

Hole Hill Lane coming off of Ranmore Common road also has a TRO (Don't ask me why, it is a ****ing joke.)

Beggars Lane now also now has a TRO unless you are on a bike... (The whole reason they shut it was beacause some tit on a motorbike came down there and fell off )

London Lane is a nice lane, As is Ride lane and some of the others around Shere

Anyway thanks for the input Mseries, I knew you guys would know the area. I knew about the Beggars lane TRO, in fact that's the only one I could find on the website, is there an easy to follow list on the Surrey Council website ??

Just beware that list has not been updated within the last 2 years (To my knowledge anyhow)

Just took a peak at the map, I see what you mean with all those TROs :.

Take a look at pink OS Map 186 Aldershot & Guildford.

There is a byway just below Puttenham South of the A31. From there you can plot a round route taking in many of the byways.

As far as I know they are all fine, but please correct me if I am wrong.

I maybe doing some of these lanes with another group on the same day, so may even bump in to you.

As far as I can remember only one byway was scratchy and it took out my indicator.

There is a very short byway just north of Beacon Hill, I wouldn't do that one either as it has drops that are around 2 feet.

depends when. mark is in lancashire at the moment, and to be honest i am skint, saving pennies so i think i will steer clear - dont want the rangey to get any more beaten up than it has to.

desperately trying to sort out a couple of motors to flog so i can make some quick cash to finally get the axles down and start the 110 build
