Ah!!! two doubters!! You know the 90 pick up WITH the Ifor Williams is the way to go.

If jealousy is a SIN then you guys are headed to hell.....

Spose if yer only four mins from the beach ya can do like I do and get changed in the warm, drive down, surf, then drive back in yer wettie and jump straight in the shower.

then you would have a wet seat
Nah. Seat cover, bin bag, surfboard bag or whatever else is nearest over the seat and the job's a good un. On the very rare occasions I surf in the summer it's just a case of off with the wettie and back on with the shorts but with surfin being mainly a winter sport in these parts jumpin straight in the shower is bloody lush.

Based in North Devon.

I do indeed just get changed in the nice warm shower at home. I just put a towel on the seat. I know the seat fabric will rot eventually but sod it!

Love the waves in North Devon but fookin ell the crowds are bad these days. Wish the waves up here in North Wales were more consistent but wouldn't swap for your crowds.

Totally agree with you. Crowds suck. Croyde is 20 mins away and like most spots in the summer when the waves are small its horrific. But once the "wannabe surfers" F-off back inland in Autumn its better!!!

To be honest there are plenty of "spots" where more than 3 is a crowd here, of course they involve effort, a walk or a climb but generally you can have class waves to yourself.

Bigger surf is always good too as podgy "wannabees" wearing all the brands and cars covered in stickers cannot get ouback!!!!

I am headed over to Ireland tomorrow to have some emerald Isle waves. Lovely over there....

It's the same evrywhere. Can't afford to go anywhere at the moment but if I could I'd be off down to the basque country again. Spent the summer a couple of years ago working me way from Bilbao all the way up to Hossegor and back. Absolutely brilliant. Ireland's lush too if you don't mind a drop of rain.
