i am trying to find out some info about the super chargers and who fitted these . I believe the engine is a bored out 3.9 uprated to 4.2 and fitted with a supercharger. I understand it came from a classic Range Rover but not sure if a one off or was an upgrade at the time offered by a specific company specialising in conversions. I'm assuming about early 2000's . Any info appreciated

Are you meaning in general, or a specific vehicle? There have been lots and lots of things done over the years.

I will try and sort some photos as it's in storage at the mo.
I understand that the 3.9 Rover V8 was upgraded when fitted to the long wheelbase LSE models . Apparently the 4.2 litre V8 was circa 200HP so it may be one of these and its had a supercharger fitted. I'll try and see if any specific names visible but imagine there will be on the supercharger.

The LSE only had the 4.2 V8 and it was circa 200hp with the ZF4hp22 you can't romp too much power through it..

I've seen a centrifugally supercharged RRC and a Roots blower charged one.

All well and good but tbh not worth it on a stock engine..

All well and good but tbh change your avatar picture to something more akin to a Landy forum it's not a porn site...

I know right!!

Shippers is just bored, as usual ;)

He'll be back..

Just think for a minute people come here on this forum for advice and help...you give it...they then check your profile and what are they confronted with?...i'm certainly no prude or bored but if you want your advice taken seriously and I think you do then it's up to you how you represent yourself...have you not noticed there's only a couple of handfull of members that actually correspond on a regular basis your one of them.

"corrected to some degree"
Ah now i can read it..
I give advice people tend to take it on bored most i correspond with tend to get back with no offence to any thread so clearly this "problem" is in your head...

And i'd like you to identify this "handful of members" you speak of?

Correct your own reply and get back..it's not the advice your giving (apart from the Wynnes advice that confused the member) it's your avatar profile pics that imo are not suitable but it's up to you...if you havn't noticed yet who posts all the time I ain't going to give you a list you must have at some time thought who is that checked out their profile to find they joined circa 2012 and posted once in 7yrs.

Yes i check out peoples profiles.

As you say it's personal preference, i've not got any complaints as of yet.

And as for my avatar you can't see anything, and as for my signature, well it's a woman with her behind showing.

no crime in that most and i put emphasis on "MOST" men don't mind a nice bit of rump on the screen..

So again personal preference, again i get no complaints.

Not all members are male and in this pc climate you could be called out for promoting the use of naked woman as degrading as it has nothing to do with subject...think F1 girls now no longer...

Have a stroll through "anything goes" and them come tell me whether a nude woman is still a serious issue.
Personally i have no time for people so sensitive, if anyone gets uptight about my profile they'd have a heart attack in AG.

And there are several Lady members on here

The moment the phrase PC is mentioned I lose the will to live, but you'll get a lot of that from my generation … life's too short to be that easily offended.
nb: may I suggest gentlemen that personal issues would be better discussed by PM's rather than on the forum ?
