So my Freelander 1 (2002) doesn't have a sump guard (because the previous owner removed it) I now have one in my garage (woo) however I am lacking all the fixings for getting it back on, does anyone have any advice as to what bits I need (screw sizes, those dumb metal clips, nuts and bolts etc)

There are a variety of fixings required.
From memory the 6 main bolts are M10, the rear bolts are M6.
The 4 M10 side bolts are 25mm long, the M6 rear bolts are 20mm long.
I can't remember the front bolt dimensions though, but they're longer than the side bolts.

I modified mine so just the resin tray could be removed and not the outer alloy frame which was a pain every time you needed to do any work in that area.

My engine has a method of ensuring I never need to use any anti-seize compounds on anything in the engine bay :D
You have to remember than not all Freelanders leak oil GG.
My FL2 doesn't leak anything, well except when the PS pipe failed a few weeks ago, then everything was covered in PS fluid.
