Hi All,
I have the Karmen subwoofer set up in my 1997 DSE, all working thank goodness, however I notice on the LH side there is what looks like a slot for a card of somesort. About the sizes of a credit card where something obviously goes in. Has anyone seen this before, I cant see any reference to it in the handbook or the workshop manual.
Has it got anything to do with the message "no pack installed" that comes up on the head unit when I switch between CD and radio. The CD pack is in and working.

No pack installed means either the CD player has lost contact with the head unit or you don't have one fitted. Or maybe that the CD player is not registering the presence of a cassete holder.

Hi,
I dont know if the first part of my post was missing, cant see it here. The main question was that on the Woofer unit in the boot is a box on the side with what looks like a credit card slot, obviously something goes in it. I cant find any reference to it in any handbook or workshop manual and it definately looks like it belongs there.
The no pack message comes when switching around from CD to radio or cassette. They all work fine, so wondering if it is some sort of card reader.
??
