SU to efi plumbing question

Today I got started stripping off the SU manifold, fitting the efi one with the new valley gasket etc.
I also inspected the camshaft and found that all the lobes looked uniform to my cursory inspection. The rockers were rocking away happily when I cranked the motor. Not sure it's worth tuning this low comp motor further, I think I will just look for a higher comp 3.5 project motor.

Cleaner than I expected in the valley, I'm sure there's wear but nothing disastrous to my eye.
