If they are playing off the lane then they are wrong whoever they are and whatever they are driving... but it is the bikes that are likely to be travelling at the higher speeds and therefore representing greater danger to those on a footpath...
don't get me wrong.... most of the bikers I have seen have been just as responsible as the rest of us but those that are not, and place even more of our lanes in jeapordy, should be stamped on.
