Struggling to fix my windows.

Hi all.

For the last 6 months of ownership my Landy has only ever had a working drivers window.
Decided to have a little play with the bent/broken motors i removed from the other doors. Got one to work on the NSR but now lost the bar that connects it to the window.
Other two arms are broken and not sure if there any power going to the OSR motor.

Picked up a set of new motors off a mate who was breaking a 300tdi (same as mine) but when i got them the arms were a different size and the wiring didn't fit.

This is a broken arm and motor i removed from my truck:



And this is what came out of my mates 300tdi:



Bit confused as to why there different.
Checked my window ecu and all the solder joints seen to be fine and i've replaced the 4 switches in the centre console panel.
Does anyone know where i can get the shorter arms in the first pic so that i can fit them too my motors?
Just getting annoying now.

So I guess you are saying you've got a full set of working motors but a couple of fubarred regulators.

I think you will find the shorter arms are for the rear windows. Get on e-bay you'll be able to pick up regulators for very little, in fact I'm fairly sure the regulators are not expensive when new.

I think all the motors are working yes, gotta check one of them.
The arm in the top window came out of my front passenger door, at some point it has caught on the door inner skin, bent and snapped the end off.
Rear door regs are weird looking right angle pieces of metal.

iirc there are 2 types of regulator for the 300tdi one for the earlier models (same as 200tdi) and one for later.

have a look on ebay or try your local scrappys they arent too expensive

Do they have an Autojumble at Billing? Tempted to go up on the sunday to have a look.
