Excellent
thanks very much yes I don't think too thick on outside this will do nicely and as you say strip out the inside and make templates ,thanks for helping and appreciate it ! , not many people want to help anymore so people like you are one of a few ,I'll take a look at that now and order some , will enjoy doing this this is kind of thing I'm good at haha ,thanks, tony
Ur so very welcome and great pleasure being able to help where I can , always a team effort
Still looking through my bookmarks as some of it isn’t suitable , indeed ref the outer thin sheets instead of thick ones
Likewise when I done the engine cover, used some CAD ( cardboard aided design )
, along with one of those hobby knives which are super sharp made the job a lot easier
U can also fill the cover up with water and some washing up liquid , allow them to soak , that will aid removing the remnants of the glue , then getting all the grease etc off on the inside/ outside of the cover
Also found using a hotair gun worked well in softening the sheets up and corners etc
Just thought , would put a sheet just placed on the top cover to ensure it fits before sticking it , plus if the inside foam is still there handy as a template , assume it is in bad shape , mine were missing and built mine up with thin sheets first then some thicker ones for the inside
Will come back as soon as I find the other sheets that I used
