Hi Guys, Not owned my 2005 FL1 TD4 for very long and a strange scraping noise has developed when I have done 3-5 miles plus. When I bought the car I had the prop removed unitl I rebuild the VCU as it was tight and needs replacing so I know its not the VCU or support bearings. At first I thought it was either the discs and pads on the NSF or the backplate catching on the disc. Discs and pads have been replaced and I even replaced the NSF wheel bearing too. I can bring the noise on in a sweeping left hand bend at 40mph+ and it can only be described as a metal on metal scraping. Before I throw all my dollies out the pram and change the NS driveshaft and gearbox oil (just in case) has anyone ever come across this before or have any ideas? :confused:I can't think for the life of me what would load/unload something like this noise other than bearing/backplates/discs and pads or (GULP!!!) Diff/Gearbox?????:eek::eek:

Any ideas or pointers would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
