Strange Noises from beneath my landy

I have some strange noises coming from beneath my landy, they can only be descibed as a twang then followed by a series of honking noises as I accelerate, apart from my kids thinking I'm driving a clown car there seems to be no other adverse affects, also the abs warning light comes up on the dash for a brief moment as the intial twang noise goes off.

any ideas anybody?
