I saw on fleabay a company callled stormwipers that do conversions for landrovers which do away with the old window washer. Instead they have wipers with the washer jet fitted to them and pipework from the existing source. Has anyone tried this method and if so how well does it work?

Did this to mine using Peugeot spray arms and some piping from B&Q.

Ive seen the ones on ebay and they seem good value (£18?), considering the Peugeot spray arms are £12 each from the dealers. You can source them from scrapyards, but to be honest, I would just buy the ebay ones.

found em. what a ripoff! and why have they produced a 'beefier' wiper arm? why?

stupid.

G

that link to modify the current status is the way forward, or just extend the tubing out from a T piece and cable tie the pipework to the existing wiper with a few holes in the pipe.

I run standard jets with one res and pump per jet , hits hard enough for me at any speed ! And doubles the capacity so longer between fills
