Storm 1 / 2 engine difference anyone know

Thanks James, I have put a few posts up in different areas of the board, yours is the first reply, basically my water pump has gone, trying to buy a new one 2000 Td5, and have been told it's a Storm 1 engine, 98-2001, but water pumps on ebay say say like 98-2004, and such like need to order the correct part right now this being my daily transport.

never heard of 'storm1' just 10p or 15p. for my 2000 td5 i just bought a standard water pump. as far as i'm aware, the disco 2 td5 uses the same pump whatever year it is. just dont buy a cheap shìte one.

assuming it is a disco, if you're doing the water pump, factor in an oil change. then you can remove the pipe from the centrifugal filter to the sump, which is just 2 bolts- gives you loads more room and you have to remove both filters anyway to get at the pump.
