Hi there guys,

basically, i am referring to the black fabric bag that clips or screws to the rear of the rear seats and provides you with some storage.

My question is, what is this bag called?? I mean officially??
AND what is used to fix it in place??

There are 4 holes in the chair and 4 in the bag. I was just wondering if there are any particular fitting or can i uses self tappers, Etc. ???

Any input is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Christian.

The bag is secured the the back of the seat with 4 steel fasteners. They go in the 'ole, and I think that you turn them 1/2 a turn clockwise, and they lock in place. They have a little steel ring to grasp them with, which folds flat.
So I dont think you can simply wind a self tapper in the 'ole, cos you'll knacker something important!!

sorry, forgot, the bag is was originally designed for storing the glass sunroofs and T bar if you choose to remove them. It has specific slots for the glass, and a pocket for the bar.
Its called a sunroof stowage case...no surprise there really!!!

You'll be lucky to get the correct fasteners separately................

Scrap the square nut approach, get some Tee nuts, I've just done this with M8's,they fit snug and sit flush, you'll have to bend two of the prongs on the nut.

Do I have to post pics?

I don't have a targa top bag (they were an accessory) those holes make good lashing points for keeping stuff upright

Okayy... i dont see how a tee nut could be used?! :S

If you could post some pics that would be ace! :D

Thankyou all :)
