Hi Guys, As a newcomer with a p reg disco 300tdi I need help.
After reading this site over the years I decided it was time to join.
Started with air in the fuel system, so I replaced the fuel lines which did the trick. Now won't start and I believe it could the stop solenoid, but as usual with the disco its not that easy, mine has the tamper proof version.
Do I have to smash it off with a chesel or drill it off, but whats underneith and what to do with the three wires. there is power getting to the solenoid.
help me its cold walking to work:mad:

if fuel is getting through to frony banjo on injector pump and lift pumps fine youve got pipes on right way round etc ,then to get at solenoid you do have to break cover around screws and chisel them undone ,just fit one ingnition live to the wire on solenoid

One of the 3 wires is an ign live, cant remember which one but if you test it with a light youll easily find it.

Hi Guys, This is now the state of play with the disco not starting, new fuel lines, new lift pump, got rid of the tamper proof fuel stop solenoid and replaced it with a new one, found the live wire out if the three and connected it to soleniod, Still engine won't start.

Help any ideas before I take a hammer to the car:frusty:

Thats helpfull !!. If you mean the bit on the tamper proof box with the three wires going into it, well thats gone and now there's one wire onto the new solenoid.
Any better ideas anybody
