its boiling my urine lol, i paid good money for it aswell its had no welding at all should i just try a lift pump to rule it out for the sake of 20-30 dollars lol

you need to be methodical , check for air and pump operating by slackening front banjo bolt on injection pump and look for air whilst some one cranks engine ,if theres air go back and sort that first ,usual places are lift pump ,sedimenter and sender unit in tank under plate in boot floor especially passenger side pipe of the 2

i will crack on tomorow with that advice, also does any of yous have a link for a new stop start solonoid the 3 wire same as mine thanks again

im not sure you can ,usual practice is removal even at injection pump specialists if its an electrical isue, is a std solenoid under there

cheers freelaner , im just worrieded i will damage something while trying to remove the cover off the black box any tips how to get it off as i dont have any special tools to remove it properly

there isnt any , same principle as steering locks with snapped head bolts some will tap round some need a good chiseling in which case you need to break cover around bolts

Right lads iv fitted a new lift pump and i now get diesel pumping from it, i bled the diesel filter off, i then loosened the pipe off from the filter to the pump, and it bled it at the pump, but it dosnt get any diesel at the injectors still, so is the next step the 3 wire stop solenoid, if so how the hell do i change it, is it just a case of gently chiseling the tamper poof cover off, thanks

Well lads all is well my new spill return pipe came today, fitted it and now is all good ... big shout out to all of you .. and this forum ... id have scrapped it by now if it wasnt for yous lot lol

How did you get the cover off, and did it solve the starting problem? as i too have the engine winding over and over, till i ran the battery flat, that was four weeks ago now, and have only now read this on here. If when i get the cover off, and live feed it, do i then need a switch in line to stop the truck, or will it work with out having to stall each time its used ?
