70k miles

My pride and joy was stolen last night from my work address in Gloucester on 29/01/2014 as pictured below. A fairly mint example having lots of work done recently, running BFG Mud terrains so a distinguishable vehicle

Ears to the ground please gents.

No additional security.

Gutted as the car spent its whole life in our village. Had 70k on it and was in great condition.

1 spotted at Shell Nailsworth,

no number plate taken though,

Spoke to the guy on the till this morning,

Allowed me to have a look, sadly not yours,

Sorry to hear that. Someone tried to take my 110 on Weds night in Hythe Kent, I was very lucky. I hope you get a lead soon.

Thanks guys.

Johnny - I live in the Painswick area so know the garage you mean, thanks for asking.

No leads yet. Have a few people on the lookout in the trade.

Will keep this updated with any news.

There are many Landrover thefts in gloucestershire, 3 that I know if In Tetbury in last couple of years, the last one was a friend of mines top of the range silver defender doublecab, taken whilst they were in the house and last seen heading towards Stroud, never to be seen again. It had an imobiliser and alarm.
Mine was taken from my drive but found 2 weeks later 100 miles away near Reading, you may be lucky hopefully
I will keep an eye out this way.

As much as I hate to say this, i'd check ebay for 90s that are like your but diff colour (could have been resprayed have heard this before) or look for parts on ebay that look like yours..... Best of luck, those bastards are the scum of the Earth.

UPDATE:

Police have recovered the vehicle 30 miles away in Great Rissington.

Recovered to a garage in Blockley I have no idea what condition the vehicle is in.

Could be minor damage, could have been driven through floods and burnt out.

Will find out tomorrow and report back.
