Bright metallic blue/green 1992 Defender 90 stolen from outside house on Sunday 19th September, reg J882 LHD. Just outside Sheffield city centre round spotlights on the roof, front diff guard big tires. Will try to post pictures soon.
Only had the car two weeks typical
If anyone can keep a look out cheers :)

Is that yellow on the driver's door paint/decal or a reflection? I can't tell on my iPhone.

Also, what are the details of the police forums mentioned above please?

You know... we get a lot of folk posting ' i only had it a few weeks too'

doesn't that kinda suggest something is a bit up?

And, the yellow is a sticker of a landie
 
looked at the engine bay on your pics and then seen the engine bay on this
2002 landrover defender td5 only 42000 miles on clock on eBay (end time 27-Sep-10 16:17:18 BST)
same colour same engine even the crap splashed under the bonnet is a perfect match as i ghosted one image over the other and it matches like a fingerprint have a look and fone the rozzers i am 99.99999% sure it was yours even his excuse of cant prove its genuine so cant register it with dvla seems dodgy

the pic of the engine bay on here is from the ebay add the landy in the add isnt this one ... although it looks like it is stolen and someone is missing a nice truck ...

have you checked this blokes feedback, hes sold **** loads of landy bits, bonnets, doors, roof racks, wheels, allsorts. and look at the feedback as a buyer. he baught the i.d for that 90 for 350quid off ebay, theres even a pic of the reg plates that are on the 90 now!!!
 
Shame the police don't have a nice easy simple way of reporting potential crimes... A nice email system would be useful, but instead you would have to ring up the local branch, give loads of personal information then explain and sit back and watch them do F all.
