man that sucks, mine was taken sunday so you have my sympathies. might sound cynical but have you checked round the place you bought it, scams have been done before where the seller keeps a key and a few weeks later goes and picks it up again. hope you get her back, sounds like a fantastic motor

steve

Thanks steve, the fella was pretty genuine, part of south wales landy club, have been keeping in contact with him via facebook etc.

Just so annoyed there are pricks out there that can do that for a living.

Same to you mate, good luck, hope your's is recovered too

To save Ratty the job...

What additional security did you have on it? Disklok? clutch claw? Alarm?

Hi mate, I just had a disklok pro on it, hadn't had a chance to save up for a tracker or anything else as I only had it 2 weeks. Was also parked in view of cctv, it only took three of the 10 mins to get in get the steering lock off and drive away

wow. Fair enough. Don't Disklok offer some kind of insurance / payout if your motor gets stolen?

ahh no worries... and less surprising they could get one off so quickly (sorry, don't mean to sound harsh, i know it sucks to have a landy go missing)

Im stupid i meant stoplock sorry dude

that sounds more like it!!

Stoplocks can be removed in Seconds by some1 who is prepared and
no's what they are doing.
And in mintues by someone who isnt prepared!!

I Hope you get it back mate!
And when you do spend <£100 and buy a DiskLok!!

Diskloks are Thatcham rated, and according to Ratty, Along with Wheels on Full Lock, and a Decent Thatcham Immobiliser are the best steps to take!!

What he says ^^^^^^.;)

Sorry to hear about yer landy going missing wozza. Cheers for the reply to Bumps question about additional security. Hopefully with the information we gain from yourself and other victims we can compile a list of known deterants to help make our landys safe (or as safe as possible) from the tea leaves.

****... only 2 weeks after you bought it!!

do you have the guys on CCTV nicking it?

i dont think that on ebay on the last link is the same, they would have had to do a lot of changes, would they bother?

I reckon it could be wozzas .. changes on it are quick ones.. and its prob only a couple of hours away from you. :(

quick way of finding out...

send a message to the seller of the one advertised now asking if the chassi is bare or has it been undersealed....

the stolen one was undersealed... if this one isnt, then I doubt they would clean it off just to sell the 110
