Well the Disco has been off the road for almost a year whilst I rebuilt her and become sluggish before I took her off the road.
She's back on the road now so I decided last weekend to fit a new timing belt, lift pump, and cleaned out the sedimentor which wasn't that bad to be honest? Also a oil change and new filters but not much difference, so I adjusted the tappets this weekend and that made a slight difference so I decided I would fettle with the pump I've done 3/4 boost and half a turn (180 degrees) on the star wheel it boosts much better but there's not much pull before it boosts can I adjust the star wheel anymore? Would like to know what you've done to yours and the difference it made? I not expecting it to be a rocket ship I just want a bit more from the bottom of the rev range?
I'm running 265/75/16 special tracks and I know that will alter the gearing but by how much?

Regards

Nick

Bigger wheels will give you more top end but bugger acceleration. Try servicing diffs and box's as they may be a little sticky coupled with bigger wheels total low end loss. Try handbrake for binding also.
