Sticky out grill

Thinking about future mods for my 1999 TD5 and I think I like the look of the more modern versions that have the grill that sits proud of the front of the wings and headlight surrounds. I expect it coincided with the puma engine ? Am I right ? just need to know - 1. What to ask / look for and 2. Will it be an easy conversion from my standard TD5 flat grill ?
Hope its not too silly a question.
Also - are safari lights difficult to fit to a previously solid roof ?

It is to do with aircon I think.

Its an aircon grille, if you have a winch or anything else bolted to the front it wont be easy.

They do infact stick out more to compensate for the aircon.

if you want one, i have one on mine which isn't wanted now as i removed the aircon.
