Stickers or not...?

So seeing as my 90 is just about done, I can focus on making it look cool

I am trying to decide whether to put some graphics and stickers on it to cover up some of the imperfections and just make it stand out a bit.

Was thinking some large matt black stickers such as large Animal and DC ones on the sides, that kind of thing, or something like this:

The colour schemes would be matt black and grey I think.

What are peoples opinions?

Noooooo! Already looks good mate, don't cover it in stickers!

Maybe a tasteful one somewhere, but just don't do loads! Theres a guy where I live with one covered in monster stickers and it looks horrible!

Thanks Polishing it tonight, then will take some proper photos.

I am two minds about it to be honest, I don't want loads of gimicky slogans everywhere, but thought just black stickers might look good.

Ok, so general consensus is no then!

Get some of those embossed glossy black letters that spell out Defender and TDI and place them at the back and on the lower front wings behind the wheels.

James you've done an amazing job, may I ask where you got your rock sliders from.?! They look cool - I would love some.

Strange that you mentioned the "Defender" embossed letters, I have some to go on the bonnet that I got from the LRO show, and I ordered the back ones from Flatdog yesterday (along with a mantec wheel carrier and ladder )

Not sure on the rock sliders, I bought them from a friend for £40, then got them powder coated for £70. Bargain

Haha don't forget the obligatory 'This way up' sticker though.

Or you could do an Ali G style top of the windscreen sticker...

Nothing wrong with a sticker or two so long as you don't go over the top, or try to hide blemishes with them and avoid clichés.

Maybe a "One Life, Live It" type thing somewhere, but I wouldn't go nuts. A few tasteful ones would be my choice. But it's your LR, no one elses! Do what you want as long as you can put up with whatever people say!
