Stereo range 53 plate

Hi, I've just got a range rover 53 plate, and the stereo system does not seem to work at all... There is a red light flashing above top right of the screen all options are there but there is nothing to at least get the radio on... It does land on the code option when scrolling so guessing its not that... I'm really stuck... Got a nice car but with no sounds... Any chance of anyhelp... PLEASE

Check for water ingress in the rear left hand side of the boot it is where all the entertainment stuff is, water gets in and the connectors get green stuff on the pins.

OK thanks, should I pull the conectors out? If so any inperticular. I did look there yesterday and didn't seem to be any sign of water or dampness.?
