I have the steering wheel in the picture. tried youtube but can not see any videos. any tips on how to get this type of wheel off as have a new one to fit, thanks

I would imagine the centre badge would have to be levered out to get to the nut

Remove the Landrover plastic insert with a small/fine screw driver.
Behind this is the nut.
You can make an extractor if needed.

Unofficial way.
Wedge knees behind steering wheel & apply pressure.
Hit with a Copper hammer on to the colum with the nut still loose.

Tried that too.
I've given up. The OEM wheel does the job well enough and I can live with the off-centre position even though it "grinds my gears" that it isn't right. My concern now is for future maintenance - I like to be sure that everything that should come apart actually will, and this doesn't.

It will with a puller, they’re notoriously hard to get off otherwise, reassuringly so.
