Hi,
Does anyone have a picture or description of a steering wheel puller, im gong to tryand make my own hopefully but im not sure what one is like.

Cheers,

a picture they can put on here....
Thanks for the link, i need one in the nextday or so, so it would take too long to order but i could possibly make one tomorrow.

Cheers,

The picture above is a good place to start if you want to make one - I made my own (didn't know you could buy them so cheaply!) - bit of metal bar, three holes, three bolts and one nut. The outside bolts screw into the threaded holes in the steering wheel. The middle bolt with a nut on it is used to push against the steering column.

Loosen the nut holding the wheel on - dont take it off completely.
Take a soft faced hammer and while pulling on the wheel give the top of the steering shaft a few good taps. Works every time for me.
When you put the wheel back on use some copper slip and it will come off easily next time. Also dont do the nut up too tight.
