Dear All, had need to remove the steering tie bar today and noted there's no bush/bushes between the Tie Bar shaft/thread and the Panhard to Chassis Bracket. There's a mahoosive gap here. Anyone know the reason why LR didn't fit a soft bush sleeve?

it allows for steering box fitting variations like slotted holes etc so when tie bar is tight it puts no force on the steering box but supports it

Thanks James. Seems like a crap design relying just on the clamping pressure of a nyloc and the shoulder to chassis contact on the arm. It's screaming out for a soft pliable bush...o_O
