Steering pump hoses

The steering has always been a little heavy but recently one of the fluid hoses has gone strangely flat:[GALLERY=]

[/GALLERY]Should I worry, it doesn't feel flabby or anything?

Tis weird! They are all shaped with a flat in them. Not seen one as flat as yours though!! If it's not leaking or perished and steering ok then I'd leave it. Maybe a change of fluid will lighten it up??

I could also try some cable spiral binding, bit like a stent for humans!

It's supposed to be flat. They come like it from new. I think the flat hose acts as a noise silencer.

Thank you, I'm surprised I didn't notice before, it's certainly softer than the parallel hose.
