Been out all afternoon and just saw this post. Is that LRDirect? I'll go on their site and have a look. :)

They were fine, delivered quickly via courier,
The bearing kits are £25+vat and the delivery is the standard £6. Sound ok to me. I'm looking at the swivel pin kits now. This one LINKY Wondering a) is it Britpart b) will I need any other seals or gaskets to do the swivel pins
Gonna have a look at the LR Toolbox Youtube videos later to check out what's involved and what's needed. Watching the rugby now. Been out this afternoon, so watching the three games on record, back to back, big log fire on red wine and Guinness :D

How old is the car? For some reason (as I mentioned above) I thought yours was older and would have Raiko bushes.

You have a 200dti?
Do swivel seal at same time.
Gasket for the hub,stub axle,
If you are doing everything...
tab washer for the wheel bearings(plus wheel bearings) & hub seal
1 shot grease.
Make sure you you get a correct socket to fit the brake caliper bolts
Set of Spring balance to get the corrrect tension for the shims.

+1 on phone call they may do a good deal on what's needed.

Finally don't watch the rugby drink more beer

I hope that's not an indication of the result, cos we are under the cosh at the moment. I'm 31 mins in to the Eng v Ire game.
Come on!!!!!!! We've just scored a try :D Out wide, so tricky to covert

Just that part looked like the one I had & was for a 200tdi ;)
Hope the photo is generic.
Nope not watched any rugby today
So don't know the scores.

It's 2 bolts to drop the pin out. Take a photo of the pin so you get correct one. Remove the shims. Replace bolts, this wil be ok for a while.

Watch your brake pipes. Yep I split mine:mad:
20 mins job became a 60mins job &
Lots of cycling to fix on a Saturday.

Cheers about the rugby :)
I'm thinking of replacing the bearings as well as the pins. It's 21 years old and I doubt they've been changed. I've had it for the last 12 years and not changed them. (second half is starting)

Apaologies for the folloeing asd I am slightly merry:
Swivel seals and retaining rings were replaced dirung rebuild.
Gasket for hub, stub axle? Will I be disturbing this? (need to watch videos)
tab washers and one shot come in the bearing kit

Youtube?
Don't you photo,strip, guess?
How did you cope before tinterweb?

Oh is youtube better than yesterday's rugby?
Before T'internet I used manuals with a lot of trial and error. :)
When you live a long way from anywhere with a shop, it's better to try and check stuff out so you know what you will need and buy it before hand. Otherwise, part way in to a job, you discover you need a part and then your stuck for a few days (probably until the next weekend) before you can get back on with the job.
Enjoyed the rugby yesterday. And the wine and Guinness :D

This is the kit that LRParts sell for the 94 to 98 Defender for the swivel pins.

Presume it's the correct set as mine's a 97 Defender.
It doesn't say who makes the bearings. I'm going to call and ask.

Item on the left 200tdi
Item on right 300tdi
As you can see the difference ;)
Oh they are from my "emergency
Kit. I did not use the blue box bearings
