steering problem on disco 1 300tdi

need help, disco drives ok, but when you go over 40mph it gets a strong wobble up to the steering wheel, quiet violent, it go s away when slow ing down,tyre pres are ok, no damage to tyres, no missing weights , springs and shocks working fine. any ideas please.

tracking ,pas box too much play when wheels are straight shouldnt have any,steering damper worn ,wheel brgs ,swivel brgs,sometimes swapping front to rear wheels,

Its called the wobble of death Landys are well known for it.

Causes are as above, the whole steering system and front end need to be in really good condition on landys. I would suspect damper and swivel joint pre-load first.
