Steering is hard

Please help. The steering is hard and back to normal at intervals.Pump seems to be ok. I jacked the vehicle up and noticed the wheel harding when turning, seems the hardness is coming from the Cvs, has anyone experienced that or know something about that. Don't know what to do. Could I grease the CVs, yet again I don't know if the CVs have grease nipples on them.

you need to check ujs on steering linkage from steering column to box, drop track rod off .19mm socket on nut and hitting end of arm with a large hammer as close to where joint goes through arm as possible (it will break taper and joint will pop out )do the same with drag link you can then feel effort or not on swivel housings
