hey guys.
I aint sure what steering guard I have, and my basis problem is its about a 1-2 mm to wide to fit between the bumper and the chasis! check out me pics.
here is where it hits, along this edge and more so on the welding part
this bit is 15mm wide, while not sure if this is mega wide, its causing me issues fitting it in!!
dimension: 6mm sheet plate, 8mm on arms, while the widest bit of arm is 15mm as previously pointed out.
Any suggestions, is it simply not going to fit, or can i grind it down? or should i swap it, buy another etc. I got this from a salvage yard for about £50 bucks and thought be great as a solid bit of kit, but well....
p.s I didnt try and fit it while my rope was there
I look forward to hearing from you
