Afternoon Guys,

Slight issue with a steering guard I'm looking at adding,

Apparently It comes with all the bolts apart from you need to use one of the power steering box mounting bolts.

After several google searches I cant find anything other than the power steering units,

Where do I get some or am I being a numpty ?

Should point out that I havent actually bought it yet,

Things were going so well this morning,

Paddock sell their guards with all nuts and bolts needed,

I doubt these bolts will get though the chassis,

Which begs the question, whats the "recomended" bolt length to get through the chassis (i mislaid my measuring tape so I dont know how long the steering bolt is for a maximum guess)

I think Jate rings are the same width, anyone know the length of the bolts used ?

mine has M10 x 150mm bolts, but these allow for a spacer between chassis and side plate of guard. Chassis legs are about 85mm wide, so add to this 15mm for nut and washer, 10 - 15mm extra for assembly, and thickness of your guard side plate with spacer if any to get length of bolt required.

Get bolts from your local B&Q or find a bolt stockist.

I recently bought the Heavy Duty steel 3 piece guard from Paddock, it came with three long bolts that go through the chassis, the fourth being the missing steering box bolt, and four of these that you have with nylocks

that bolt the three parts of the guard together. If you're missing any bolts I'd get onto Paddock.,
