Well no.... its not just 'bling' if fitted correctly and sealed, it provides clean air from well out of harms way.

Ive been laning and to a couple p&ps had two very close calls which a snorkle would have caused me not to worry and carry on. Which when I did have one gave me that confidence to drive on.

Thats the choice, have it and not need it or need it and not have it.

Whats better? £100 and a couple hours labour or a new engine?

Ive had water over the drivers seat base at a standstill at a pay and play site and water running over the bonnet and in through the air vents when we had some floods down here, wouldnt have done either with no snorkel.
You would be amazed just how many arent coupled up under the bonnet.

Saw one guy in a disco suck water in and hyd the engine, we helped him clear the water out via the glow plug holes but he had bent one of the rods, another disco another site same outcome, mates 90 drove into a puddle which dropped into a hole and swamped the whole front of his car, that was yellow taxi home job.

Heres mine look at that arse on that guy oh hang on!
