I am fitting a steering guard and was removing the towing eyes... I checked out the steering damper and its in reasonable condition and almost cetainly the original factory fit (1997 110 with 114k)
I am thinking of replacing it before fitting the guard.... I have no issues with vibration, wobble over bumps etc.
Should I leave well alone.... ie if it aint bust dont fix it or is it time to replace it?
If so.... would Armstrong oil filled or similar be just as good as a gas filled costing twice as much? I am running a standard set up. Cheers
