Disco 2 Bearmach Steering Damper

There is a Bearmach Steering Damper fitted to my Discovery 2. Does anyone know if this is likely to be gas or oil filled, or did they do both?

No particular reason other than someone asked and I didn't know the answer.

Both dampers are filled with oil, but one has a pocket of nitrogen gas to stop the oil foaming in hard use.
If you disconnect one end of the damper and it then expands, you know theres gas in it. Simples
