Hi all
after your words of wisdom last time guys I managed to get sufficient coolant back in to the system after my top hose went. Thanks to all that helped with advice and pictures etc.

Only issue I have now is that the temperature gauge only just moves above the blue. Been for an 80 mile romp and it still shows as "cool"

The sensor unit is new - replaced 2 months ago
Any ideas?????

Unscrew the temp sender and put some more coolant in, as it sounds as though you might have an air lock ;)

Once the coolant starts to come out of the hole, nip the sensor up again ... job done :)
