Steam everywhere PART 2 2001 Disco

Hi all
after your words of wisdom last time guys I managed to get sufficient coolant back in to the system after my top hose went. Thanks to all that helped with advice and pictures etc.

Only issue I have now is that the temperature gauge only just moves above the blue. Been for an 80 mile romp and it still shows as "cool"

The sensor unit is new - replaced 2 months ago
Any ideas?????

Unscrew the temp sender and put some more coolant in, as it sounds as though you might have an air lock

Once the coolant starts to come out of the hole, nip the sensor up again ... job done
