How did you reach that conclusion?![]()
as Wammers has said many times, they will start with 3 good plugs if they are on consecutive cylinders, so it only needs one more to fail and no starty. don't replace with cheapo's they don't work.Well I don't 100% until I get in there and test, but certainly indicates towards plugs or at least that area as I had fuel, air and compression?

If its a 98 alloy manifold version check the connector block that goes on the the glow plug wires the plastic strip that hides the wire
Brother in law had an issue with starting the other day I had already changed the six glow plugs with deplh ones it was the connector block.
Delphi, Beru, Bosch.Y-507J
NGK site very easy to use, however I'm not a fan of NGK from past experiences
what else do you guys recommend?
just reading through Rave, have I really got to remove all the high pressure pipes just to get to the plugs? or will I be able to get away with just the inlet manifold?
also does anyone have the part number of the plugs?
No you don't need to remove injection pipes just manifold for ease. You will need an 8 mm socket for small nuts, extended 12 mm socket for plugs, steady pressure to undo. A wobbler will make it easier. Make sure you are square on. Beru or Delphi look at Island 4x4 site.

any thoughts? found a set for less than £20 or is it a case of buy cheap buy twice?
Do a search and you will see that the cheapo's either don't work or only work for a short time.Bearmach
