Starting issues

Hi all. recently purchased my Range Rover supercharged. I have an intermittent fault when starting. Seem ok most of the time.
I put the key in and turn all the lights on the dash come on. But when I turn to start position nothing happens. After a while of trying it does start and normally ok for a while. I have tried in neutral and park.
please help.

I think the battery is quite new. Would this effect it as its not even cranking? When it does start it’s starts strong.
I’m new to Range Rover so don’t know much about them yet.

They are picky when it comes to voltage. Do you have the ability to test the battery voltage?

Start by measuring the battery voltage while the ignition is on, then again while the key is turned to the start position

I’ll give it test tomorrow.
Why would it be ok some times but very occasionally wouldn’t have the voltage?
