Hey peeps, so, my 06 freelander 1 face-lift is having trouble starting, from cold glow plug light comes on but starting say 4 hours later no glow plug light and it takes several turns of the engine to get it going. Any ideas welcome please, I've not had this issue before
 
The pressure regulator O rings are a common cause of a non starting TD4.
The glow plug light only comes on if the engine is properly cold, but the glow plugs can continue work, even if the light isn't coming on.
