Had a starting issue and a rough idling issue for a couple months now. When I come to start it, it will take a couple more turns than normal then spring into action. Don’t splutter or owt just cranks over asif there’s no crank sensor
It also has abit of a rough idle (v8 kinda vibes) after about a min of first start up
So got hold of a second hand starter and crank sensor. It worked perfectly for about a month maybe less now am back to square 1
Tested crank wiring and plug, both okay but tested the sensor and it wasn’t giving out the correct voltages. Been to collect a new sensor today and changed it soon as I got back (was running better and started straight away just after I’d changed it) (engine was still hot tho??)but now it’s still exactly same as before.
If we bump it, it will start straight away
We’ve also tried a jump pack incase it wasn’t getting enough volts but it don’t change anything
It’s had new genuine injector seals
New fuel filter housing (2 months ago)
Non gen Fuel pump (year old)
non gen fuel reg (7 months ago)
Everything is timed up
New starter
New crank sensor
X2 new batteries
LOF extream clutch (smf)
It has been remapped and does still pull very well but I have noticed that the popcorn limiter sounds dull?? (Not a lot to it)
Put ecu on another truck and it’s perfect so it’s not the map
Please help
